Design and session

From idea to tattoo. Design, your first tattoo and what happens during a session.

01

Can I bring my own design?

Yes, even a simple sketch can often be a big help when I draw the final tattoo design.

02

Will I see the design before my appointment?

I arrive with a finished design or a sketch and always allow time for any changes. Discussing adjustments in person is much easier and more practical than doing it online. At the studio, I can print the design in several sizes, place it against your skin and see what needs to change.

03

What if this is my first tattoo?

Many people have had their first tattoos with me, and their next ones too :)

Let me know when booking and when you arrive at the studio, and I'll explain everything step by step.

04

Does getting a tattoo hurt?

Pain is individual and also depends on body placement. Most people describe it as discomfort rather than severe pain. My style is quite delicate, and many clients say they were pleasantly surprised because they expected worse. It's important to arrive well-rested and well-fed, as this raises your pain threshold.

I don't use numbing creams.

05

Do you do cover-ups?

Very rarely, because my style is quite delicate and it's difficult to cover larger, darker tattoos with it.

06

Can I bring someone with me?

No, we ask you not to bring companions for several reasons. The waiting room has limited space, and companions can't stay in the treatment room. Tattooing runs more smoothly when I can focus on one person at a time.

07

Do you tattoo minors?

No, I only tattoo adults.
